Stark Park’s- “A Walk in the Woods”

In the Fall of 2020, Manchester Moves invested $125,000 in the restoration of 1.6 miles of the Heritage Trail- North. This is the trail segment along the Merrimack River in Manchester’s North End. Trail entrances at Stark Park, River Road, and Chauncey Ave. What’s up with the Troll? This was dreamed up by local resident and entrepreneur, Liz Hitchcock. The Heritage Troll has become a welcoming character to the “Walk in the Woods” Trail system in Stark Park. The creation was hand-carved by local artist, Tom LeComte. Tom’s work can be found at his studio in Mason, NH or online at Laurel Hill Studio.
